Simon Jones (born 27 July 1950; age 74) is a British-born stage, film and television actor who is best known for his role of Arthur Dent in the original radio and TV productions of Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. (He also had a cameo as the Magrathean answering machine message in the movie version.)
Jones performed the voice role of Lieutenant Commander Stuart Mulligan in the audio-only Captain Sulu Adventure Cacophony.
