These two scavengers lived during the Occupation of Bajor and due to food shortage, they were not above simply taking food from others. In 2346, they attempted to take soup from Kira Meru and Kira Taban but were stopped by Luma Rahl after the second scavenger threatened Taban with a knife. (DS9: "Wrongs Darker Than Death or Night")
