An illusion of a pot of sleeper ship stew
Sleeper ship stew was a type of stew that was popular on the Tellar sleeper ship that brought Jankom Pog to the Delta Quadrant.
In 2383, he had fond memories of eating sleeper ship stew on his old sleeper ship. On one occasion, while on an away mission on a planet in the Hirogen star system that was dominated by a superorganism; after being exposed to the cilium-like vegetation's spores, Jankom Pog fondly remembered the stew from his past, and the spores caused him to hallucinate to first smell it, before he found it simmering in an small nearby cottage, where he took off his helmet and used it to scoop out the stew, deciding that "[o]ne bite can't hurt, right?". When he was later discovered by the rest of the USS Protostar's crew, he was entangled in roots, shoveling dirt into his mouth; only to later claimed– "but it tasted so real". (PRO: "Dream Catcher")
He later remarked that the Klingon rations that he cooked up for the crew was not as good as sleeper ship stew, but still better than eating mud. The memory made him realize how much he actually missed home. (PRO: "Terror Firma")
