In 2364, Geordi La Forge used the term sleigh ride metaphorically to describe the USS Enterprise-D's trip back through space to their prior location, aided by The Traveler. This term confused Data. La Forge replied that he didn't know what to call it. (TNG: "Where No One Has Gone Before")
