Solarion IV was the fourth planet in the Solarion system. This system was located near the Federation-Cardassian border. It was the site of a Federation colony in 2368. (TNG: "Ensign Ro")

According to the script, the pronunciation for Solarion was "soh-LEHR-ee-un". [1]
According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 47; "United Federation of Planets I") and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), Solarion IV was located in the Alpha Quadrant. This colony was resettled and, by 2378, had become a Federation member.
