Sora root was a type of root used for cooking.
In 2371, Neelix prepared a pan with frozen Sora roots to steam in his galley while Kes was talking to him about her visions. (VOY: "Cathexis")
The Sora root was not named in the episode but the call sheet for the day of filming, Friday 24 February 1995, listed "Sora root to steam (sc.15)" in the props section.
