Star Trek: First Contact is the VHS release of Star Trek: First Contact.
US release[]
Star Trek: First Contact was first released to rental in May 1997, with the retail release in November of that year. The packaging of the initial retail release featured a lenticular cover. The widescreen edition was identifiable by a blue border at the top of the cover. The retail release featured a trailer for Event Horizon and a look at Star Trek: The Experience, while rental releases added a trailer for Star Trek: Borg.

UK release[]
Star Trek: First Contact has been released on VHS in the UK several times, both individually and as part of boxed sets, since 1997. The film was released by CIC Video up until 1998, and by Paramount Home Entertainment thereafter.
The film was first made available for sale as part of the Star Trek - The Movies boxset in October 1997; the standalone retail release would not follow for six months.
In addition to the standard retail release, a Special Collectors' Edition – featuring an interview with Alice Krige, a 3D lenticular postcard, and limited edition packaging, showing Picard as Locutus, and Data as he appeared at the end of the film. – was released in April 1998.
