Star Trek: Picard Movie & TV Collection was a Blu-ray Disc collection release intended as an appetizer for Star Trek: Picard, slated for a January 2020 debut. [1]

Essentially, it was a reissue of Jean-Luc Picard-centered productions, which encompassed the four Star Trek: The Next Generation films and two feature length episodes from the series as previously released on Blu-ray along with their special features. Regarding the two episodes, they concerned the 2013 The Best of Both Worlds and the 2014 Chain of Command stand-alone Blu-ray releases, which were not incorporated as such on the regular main series' season releases, including their release specific exclusive special features.

The six-disc Viva Elite case came within a cardboard slipcover and included the exclusive 16-page Star Trek: Sky's the Limit comic book from IDW Publishing, downsized to fit the packaging. [2] [3]

While in some cases still being marketed as region-restricted, the releases are in actuality region-free as this has increasingly become commonplace for the Blu-ray format – explaining the unified inclusion of subtitles and dubbed language audio tracks for all regions. Similarly, no DVD counterpart is known to have been released for this boxset.
