US releases[]

In 1989, Paramount Home Video released an eleven-volume VHS series entitled The Animated Adventures of Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek with each tape containing two episodes. The episodes, like in the UK releases, were ordered by production, not release. The packaging is the same as that of Betamax release, with the only difference being the lack of a "Beta" sticker. The tapes were reissued in 1995 with slightly different cover art.

"The Ambergris Element" is listed as episode 13 instead of 12, and the numbering continues after that up to 23.
Based on release frequency, it is likely that these VHS tapes were released in July.
