Star Trek: The Motion Picture – Special Longer Version was the LaserDisc release of Star Trek: The Motion Picture, with an extra twelve minutes of footage added that was not in the theatrical cut, but which were included in the version as first aired by ABC Television Network on American television 20 February 1983.
Releases
Released in the US in 1983, and in Japan in 1985 and 1989, in the full-screen format. A VHS version and a VHD version were also released in the full-screen format.
