The Star Trek: The Movies – 25th Anniversary Collectors Set was a VHS collection containing the first five Star Trek films in a single boxset, released to mark the 25th anniversary. The collection was the first to bring together the films in a single collection.

US release[]

In the US, the set was released on 29 July 1991 by Paramount Home Video. [1]

Two special versions were also produced, both of which were called Star Trek: The Movies – 25th Anniversary Collection. One of these used dark blue packaging and came with three commemorative enamel pins and an introductory insert card signed by Gene Roddenberry. There was also a limited version released of 1000 copies (each copy being numbered) in red packaging that in addition included a frameable autographed document from William Shatner.

UK release[]

The UK edition – catalogue number VHR 2592, rated 15 – was released by CIC Video in the UK on 15 February 1992. In addition to the films, the collection came bundled with a separate cassette featuring the Star Trek 25th Anniversary Special documentary.

The boxset was deleted on 1 June 1996.

France release[]
