The Star Trek – Three Movie Collection is a Region B/C-only Blu-ray/Blu-ray 3D multi-disc set, initially released in November 2016, collecting the three single-disc Blu-ray releases of Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Star Trek Beyond. The set came additionally with the two Blu-ray 3D discs of the latter two films.
Already announced in late July 2016 as an UK Zavvi retailer exclusive, [1][2] it was essentially the same Region B SteelBook® three-disc release of its Blu-ray only counterpart, but addended with the two Blu-ray 3D discs. Zavvi had intended to concurrently release a collector's box set of the same in their limited and equally exclusive "Zavvi Deluxe Steelbook Edition" line with a selection of Star Trek-related collectables included, [3] but it is not clear whether or not that edition has actually seen the light of day.
At the time of its release, the Zavvi exclusive had been the only known version of the "Kelvin timeline"-trilogy to have seen a release in this specific home video format, until May 2019 that was, when a Russian Region C variant was released. A release by Noviy Disk, it differed from the British one in that it concerned a cardboard slipcase into which the three individual "limited edition" sets were collected as previously released by the company. An additional difference was that theirs contained the 2-disc Blu-ray versions of the first and third films, meaning that the total number of discs came up to seven. Also included were the two booklets and twenty collectible cards that came with the respective originating limited edition sets, and which for this release came packaged within their own separate, fourth set.
