Star Trek - Newly Recorded Music, Volume One was a soundtrack album released by Varèse Sarabande Records in 1990. It was a rerecording of the original score for the Star Trek: The Original Series episodes "Charlie X", "The Corbomite Maneuver", "Mudd's Women", and "The Doomsday Machine"; however, unlike the later Symphonic Suites releases by Label X Records, the individual cues were kept separate.
The originally recorded score for "The Doomsday Machine" was released by GNP Crescendo Records two years later on Star Trek - Original Television Soundtrack, Volume Two, while the same suite from "The Corbomite Maneuver", in its originally recorded form, appeared on The Best of Star Trek, Volume Two.
