Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home – Director's Series was a special US VHS edition of Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, released in March 1992.
One of only three films released as part of Paramount's "Director's Series" – the others being Fatal Attraction and Paper Moon – the film, presented in widescreen format, was preceded by a featurette starring Leonard Nimoy, who discussed the making of the film and its various aspects, including visual and practical effects.
The introduction later accompanied the release of the film as part of the Star Trek - The Movies boxset in the UK in 1997, and was included on the basic DVD release of the film.
