The Starbase 25-type was a starbase design in use by the United Federation of Planets and Starfleet during the mid-23rd and 24th centuries.

The massive space station was capable of facilitating a large number of starships at once.
It was considered to be quite old by the 2380s, and were known to be in service as early as the mid-2260s. (LD: "An Embarrassment Of Dooplers")

Promenade[]
This station-type had a multi-level promenade, which, in reference to Starbase 25 itself, was described by Brad Boimler as being "like a whole city". It was located along or slightly below the station's docking ring, and contained vast array of shopping and eating establishments. (LD: "An Embarrassment Of Dooplers")
Shuttlebays[]

The shuttlebays were located in a section above the station's promenade. (LD: "An Embarrassment Of Dooplers")
Aviary[]
The aviary was located within a geodesic dome. It addition to birds, trees, and a body of water, it also included a number of spheroid-shaped residences. (LD: "An Embarrassment Of Dooplers")
Ballroom[]
The station also held nightclub-like ballrooms, located atop a long flight of stairs. Ballroom Alpha was located in the central ring located along the station's midsection. (LD: "An Embarrassment Of Dooplers")
