Starbase 46 was a Federation starbase administered by Starfleet. It was located three hours away from Pahvo at warp factor five in 2256. There was a moon located near the starbase that had an opera house that at that time had a showing of La bohème in the style of Kasseelian opera. (DIS: "Into the Forest I Go") This base was located near Organia. (DIS: "Despite Yourself")
It was implied in the episode "Despite Yourself" that this starbase was in the same galactic position as Porathia in the mirror universe.
