Starfleet uniform (late 2230s-2250s)

Crew of the USS Shenzou

In the mid to late 2240s, a new Starfleet uniform design was introduced over the the previous design used from the 2230s. There were at least three colors, Gold (command), copper (operations/Engineering) and Silver (science). (DIS: "The Vulcan Hello")

In the 2250s, it was being used concurrently with another uniform design at least since 2254. (TOS: "The Cage")

It was in use on the USS Shenzhou and USS Europa. (DIS: "The Vulcan Hello", "Battle at the Binary Stars")

Standard duty uniform

The standard duty uniform was a navy blue shirt and pants with the rank colors along the sides of the uniform with stripes and Starfleet deltas in the fabric. This uniform was in use by at least 2249.

The uniform of this time had a tactical gear set hat had a vest over the standard uniform.
