Stephen Buchsbaum (born 11 February 1958; age 66) is a post production colorist, director, writer and filmmaker who worked for Unitel Video on four seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

He started a career as television and commercial director before he moved into post production where he worked on Quantum Leap (1989-1993, starring Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell), Law & Order, Beverly Hills Ninja (1997), Christmas in Tattertown (1988), Pee Wee's Playhouse (1986-1991, starring John Paragon), The Ren & Stimpy Show (1991), Body Chemistry 4: Full Exposure (1995), and 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag (1997).

Throughout his career, Buchsbaum has run post production companies such as The Post Group, Lightning Media, NovaStar Digital Sound, Runway Edit and iO Film.

As of 2008, Buchsbaum is managing partner of the production company TravelingLight Partners, LLC which he formed with Jeff Sherman. As executive producer he worked on the documentaries The Boys: The Sherman Brothers' Story (2009) and Wendy Liebman: Taller on TV (2011).
