Steve Marlo (13 July 19277 November 2019; age 92) was the actor who played Zabo in the Star Trek: The Original Series second season episode "A Piece of the Action".

Marlo filmed his scenes between Monday 6 November 1967 and Wednesday 8 November 1967 at Desilu Stage 11, and on location at Paramount Pictures' McFadden Street and Boston Street backlots.

He also appeared on such television series as Ben Casey, Combat!, Bonanza, Mission: Impossible, and Land of the Giants. His film credits include The Buccaneer (1958), The Slender Thread (1965, with Jason Wingreen), The Stranger (1973, starring Glenn Corbett) and Sharon Acker), and The Swarm (1978). He also appeared in When Time Ran Out (1980, directed by James Goldstone).

Marlo died peacefully at the age of 92 in Everett, Washington. [1]
