In November 2256, he, Psycho, Cold, and Michael Burnham were scheduled for transfer to a penal dilithium mine on Tellun. En route, their prison shuttle, SPT 21, was temporarily waylaid by the USS Discovery.
As he was led through the Discovery, Stone made observations about anomalous aspects of the starship and its crew to the others.
Stone did not participate when Psycho and Cold tried to attack Burnham in the mess hall. (DIS: "Context Is for Kings")
