Storming Heaven is a Star Trek: Vanguard novel – the eighth and final book in the series – written by David Mack. Published by Pocket Books, it was first released in March 2012.

Qo'noS is wracked by scandal. Councillor Gorkon fights to expose a Romulan plot to corrupt members of the Klingon High Council, only to learn the hard way that crusaders have few allies and even fewer friends.
Tholia teeters on the brink of madness. To prevent Starfleet from wielding the Shedai's power as its own, the Tholians deploy an armada with one mission: Kill the Shedai – by destroying Vanguard.

  • Mack revealed that contracts had been signed for the novel, and its title, on 8 March 2011. [1] On 2 July 2011, Mack announced that Storming Heaven would bring the Vanguard series to a close. [2]
  • The story for this novel, and the previous release, was derived jointly by Mack, Dayton Ward, and Kevin Dilmore. [3]
