Strnad colony was a Federation colony established in the Strnad solar system in 2364 with help from the USS Enterprise-D.
Shortly after the colony's founding it was threatened by the Edo God who considered all star systems in the stellar cluster of the Strnad system and the nearby Rubicun star system to be under its protection.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard promised to remove the Strnad colony if the Edo God signaled so. The Edo God subsequently illuminated their vessel before vanishing, which Picard took as an affirmative signal. (TNG: "Justice")
