Sumalee Montano (born 3 August 1972; age 52) is an actress and voice-over artist who played the Mom AI in the Star Trek: Picard first season episodes "Remembrance", "The End is the Beginning", and "The Impossible Box".
Montano was born in Columbus, Ohio. She is of Filipino and Thai descent, and her granduncle is playwright Severino Montano, a National Artist of the Philippines. She graduated from Harvard University in 1993, and worked as an investment banker in New York City and Hong Kong before embarking on an acting career.
Montano is an extremely prolific actress and voice actress with over 200 credits to her name.
