Surata IV was the uninhabited fourth planet in its star system.

In 2365, the USS Enterprise-D visited here, where William T. Riker was stung by a thorn teeming with microbes which attacked his central nervous system. The vine was predatory, as it deliberately stabbed any warm-blooded creature that happened by it. (TNG: "Shades of Gray")

According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 2, p. 346) and StarTrek.com, Surata IV was a M-class planet.
