Susette Andres is a singer, drummer, and actress who appeared as an Alsaurian prostitute in the Star Trek: Voyager second season episode "Resistance" for which she filmed her scenes on Friday 29 September 1995 and Monday 2 October 1995 on Paramount Stage 16. She also appeared as a holographic bar patron in the second season episode "Tuvix" and third season episode "The Swarm". As a background actress she received no credit for her appearances and was identified by the call sheets on which she is listed as "Patron". She filmed her scenes for "Tuvix" on Tuesday 6 February 1996 and for "The Swarm" on Thursday 1 August 1996 on Paramount Stage 16 and wore the same dress as Karole Nellis' Poet character.

Born as Susette Joanna Boggs, she moved from Long Island, New York to California to pursue a career as a singer and actress and appeared in the horror comedy Hard Rock Zombies (1985, with John Fleck), the horror film Night of Terror (1986), and the action film Karapatan ko ang pumatay... Kapitan Guti (1990). On the set of Hard Rock Zombies she met producer Paul Zabu who wanted to add songs of her into the films soundtrack, including the song "Let the Music Move You".

Andres the founded and worked as original drummer in the girl rock band Precious Metal. She left the band, formed the band Wylde Hearts, moved on and became a member of the rock band Bombshell between 1992 and 1999, when the band disbanded. [1] [2] More recently, her band The Other Otherz released an EP in 2006, a self-titled debut album in 2008, and a CD in 2014. [3]

Together with Christy Reed, Andres also runs her own professional animal care business and appeared with her animals in programs such as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Animal Planet, Larry King Live, and Magic Mountain. [4]

In April 2014, Andres was arrested and charged with disability fraud when she claimed she contracted Lyme disease while working for the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation for over ten years at the Placerita Canyon Nature Center in Newhall, but was later seen playing in over a hundred stage shows for several rock bands.
