T'Klaas was a Vulcan student of Surak and one of the first Kolinahr masters who died during the Time of Awakening in the 4th century.
His mummified body was entombed in the catacombs of the T'Karath Sanctuary. Since there was no inscription, the identity of his remains, in terms of origin of his bloodline, were unknown until 2154, when Captain Jonathan Archer, holding the katra of Surak, identified him. (ENT: "Awakening")
T'Klaas represents a counter-example to the practice that "T'" names are usually used for female Vulcans.
