Talak'talan's attack ship was the first Jem'Hadar attack ship to have passed though the Bajoran wormhole in late 2370.
The ship was initially detected by Jake Sisko and Nog aboard the USS Rio Grande as it left the surface, on a bearing of 173-mark-281, from the planet they were surveying , and entered warp on a bearing of 171-mark-259. A short time later, it passed through the wormhole, and a single representative, Talak'talan beamed directly into Deep Space 9's Ops, warning the Federation to stay on their side of the "anomaly", so as to not risk offending the Dominion.
After Talak'talan beamed off the station, the station attempted to lock a tractor beam onto this ship, but Chief Miles O'Brien was unable to, speculating that "They must have some kind of deflectors we haven't seen before." (DS9: "The Jem'Hadar")
