there is a note here after a piece of information that states that "this could also have been 2254 -- shouldn't the info be moved to 2250s then? -- Captain M.K.B. 14:03, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
- Absolutely - I'd do it right now, but I'm not sure about the best wording - is this event really restricted to either 2254 or 2255, or could it take place in other years before or after as well? -- Cid Highwind 14:54, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

- The Treaty of Armens is established between the Sheliak Corporate and the United Federation of Planets. The treaty cedes several class H planets from the Federation to the Sheliak. The treaty contains half a million words and took 372 Federation legal experts to draft. Upon concluding the treaty, the Sheliak end communication with the Federation. Talks between the two did not occur again until the year 2366, when a dispute arose over a Human colony on Tau Cygna V. (TNG: "The Ensigns of Command")
- Not stated in the episode: it is established that the Sheliak haven't made contact since this time, but the age of the treaty of Armens is never established in dialog or in the parts of the treaty text we see. I've swapped in new text to say this, and also removed images of the treaty of Armens from the article. -- Capricorn (talk) 20:27, July 21, 2019 (UTC)
Mirror events really in 2255 ?[]
Many articles concerning mirror events (including "Terra Firma, Part 1" & 2) are linked to 2255 because Lorca says "One year, 212 days of torture, of agony, my friends, my followers." when he liberates his followers. That's the only datation we have. I think this assomption is stupid :
- First, does he really mean '1y+212d' or '1y or rather 212d' ? Why didn't he say 1.5y or 577d which would be far more logical ?
- If we assume this 2255 date based on 1y+212d, what is the starting event : the capture of Ellen Landry and Lorca's followers ? between the coup d'Etat and the destruction of the ISS Buran (no prisoners), months could have passed ? so the coup could be months before the capture of those prisoners and/or the Buran destruction months after. Furthermore, why a selfish character even count days for his followers ?
- Synchronicity is a key for the prime and mirror universes before the 24th century divergence.
- USS Buran is destroyed by klingons (by Terrans for ISS) a month after may 11 2256 (circa june 11 2256) and the two Lorca switch in the same circonstances as TOS: "Mirror, Mirror" where ISS and USS Enterprise were at the same time in the same place. So mirror Lorca should be in his own universe in june 2256 not leaving it a year before.
- If we assume DIS: "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad" occurs on New Year's Day (Tyler prisoner for 227 days after may 11 according to DIS: "Into the Forest I Go" => circa december 24 + less than a week for DIS: "Lethe" + still considered new at the party and a good choice of day for a party and for Mudd's plan), Pahvo's mission seems a few days/weeks after (no datation available), so early 2257. If Pahvo's mission occurs one week after Mudd's plan, mirror Lorca woulf have spend exactly 212 days in the prime universe (something he would clearly count days for).
- USS Discovery and USS Glenn are considered fresh out of the shipyards in june 2256. Why would ISS Discovery be launched years before ?
- ISS Charon seems the mirror counterpart of the Sarcophagus.
- Prime Burnham betrays prime Georgiou on may 11, mirror burnham betrays her mother for the coup. The coup d'etat seems the mirror event counterpart of Battle of the binaries.
- Mirror Burnham is called "Butcher of the Binary Stars" in DIS: "The Wolf Inside". On a conjectural note, maybe the failed coup gived an opportunity for the Coalition (Klingons and other races) to attack the Terrans at the binaries (the rebellion was still just a theory as of "Terra Firma" - day of the coup), and Burnham (still not exposed as traitor) was sent there. During a month, Lorca escaped and tried to find allies before the Buran destruction. During that period, Burnham was declared killed by Lorca's followers in a shuttle while chasing him (propaganda - in reality death penalty by her mother) {while the prime Burnham was emprisonned}
