Tuvok's resignation[]
Tuvok's article :
"After the Excelsior's mission ended Tuvok resigned his commission on account of his dealings with humans and returned to Vulcan, where he taught archery science for several years at the Vulcan Institute of Defensive Arts. (VOY: "Basics, Part II") He then spent several years in seclusion by immersing himself in the Kolinahr."

- 2293: Graduates Starfleet Academy; serves as a junior science officer aboard the USS Excelsior.
- 2293: Resigns from Starfleet.
Kolinahr's article :
"Tuvok entered the Pon-Farr during his sixth year of the ritual, thus he left prematurely and married his betrothed wife."
=> He marrried in 2304, so he began kolinahr in 2298. One of these article (2298 / Tuvok) is wrong about the resignation. Has someone a confirmation. - Philoust123 11:26, 7 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- According to StarTrek.com and the character index at the back of the Star Trek Chronology, he resigned in 2298. I also seem to remember him saying he served aboard the Excelsior for five more years before resigning, but that could just be my memory playing tricks on me. --From Andoria with Love 11:36, 7 Jan 2006 (UTC)
