I'm really no military buff, but wikipedia calls this the 2K12 Kub, so it should be moved. [1] Kennelly (talk) 15:49, March 13, 2016 (UTC)

And this picture is captioned as a 2K16 Kub, and the profile looks very much like our photo. Perhaps more research is called for? -- Renegade54 (talk) 23:25, March 13, 2016 (UTC)

I honestly put more faith in wikipedia (in different language versions) than someone on Pinterest/Facebook. Google turns out basically only us (as first hit, no less) and this one Egyptian military photo for 2K16. It might have been the Egyptian name, but the official Russian name was definitely 2K12, and the variant for Egypt was called 2K12 "Square". Kennelly (talk) 16:23, March 14, 2016 (UTC)

I share Renegade's concern that we're discussing things here about which no one seems very knowledgable - nothing good can come out of guesses what it's named. Ultimately the question is not how much you trust Pinterfest, it's how much you trust the article creator, OuroborosCobra. -- Capricorn (talk) 00:18, March 15, 2016 (UTC)
I have no objection to this being moved to 2K12 Kub. I don't think we have enough info from the picture to know if this is the Egyptian version or not. When I made this article, I identified it visually as the SA-6 (NATO designation), and found a source for the Russian designation. I do not remember what that source was, though it was probably Wikipedia. Either I made a mistake or Wikipedia has changed their information to be more accurate. It doesn't really matter which happened; we can change ours to be correct as well. --OuroborosCobra talk 13:30, March 16, 2016 (UTC)
Well I think that makes it pretty clear then, support for a rename. It's cool to see you still popping in once in a while, OuroborosCobra :) -- Capricorn (talk) 01:24, March 17, 2016 (UTC)
I have finished the move. --OuroborosCobra talk 03:24, April 6, 2016 (UTC)
