Usage of the word[]
I believe in the instance you are referring to, Kirk used the term "analyst" to mean "psychiatrist (psychiatric analyst, as is linked in your list.)". He was basically saying, "quit shrinking my head, Spock". That said, a disambig page for terms with the word "analyst" in it makes sense. --LauraCC (talk) 15:58, April 1, 2017 (UTC)
And BTW, Transmissions analyst (links) appears only here and in the list of references for TNG: "Tin Man". The relevant passage doesn't use the term "Transmissions analyst" at all. Instead, Tam Elbrun says, "The people who've studied the transmissions think it's a starship." Is there an okudagram that uses that term as is? --LauraCC (talk) 18:15, May 14, 2017 (UTC)
