Pronouns[]
At which point in the episode is it established that Angel does likewise? Or is this a case of something being established in behind-the-scenes material? I made a slight correction on the article for the real Aspen that assigned "they" to the real doctor, as I'm pretty sure nothing is established either way for that unseen character. Although the performer may use them, it doesn't automatically transfer to the fictional character being protrayed. I viewed the TV broadcast version on CTV Sci-Fi not the streamed version so I stand corrected if there was a scene in which Angel (as Angel or posing as Aspen) established pronoun preferences but it was cut for broadcast. 23skidoo (talk) 16:38, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
- Pirate Pike: "Argh, me mateys. If we ever catch Angel, we should make them walk the plank. Argh." –Gvsualan (talk) 17:15, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
Is that conclusive though? That's just a joke and I also don't think Pike bothered to ask given the circumstances and it may have even been an ad lib by Mount. In any event I believe the performer actually uses she, etc. (I need to double-check Keitel's website) so in the case of behind the scenes notes, etc. should make sure we're getting it right. That's the main thing. 23skidoo (talk) 14:51, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
- Not a canon source, but startrek.com uses "they" for Angel, so I'd say it's good enough until confirmed by a better source otherwise. JagoAndLitefoot (talk) 18:59, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
