Armour or armor is protective covering used to prevent damage from being inflicted to a vehicle through use of direct contact weapons or projectiles, usually during combat. Armour has been used to protect soldiers, war animals such as war horses (the application for the latter called barding), and war machines such as warships and armoured fighting vehicles. wikipedia's armour article -- Scripps Winborne Whorton Taylor 02:11, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Are we allowed to copy and paste from Wikipedia? But we've got to stick to canon as much, right? -- Scripps Winborne Whorton Taylor 02:41, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
- No you cannot copy from wikipedia, our licenses are not compatible, and yes, it is best to leave it to either a) basic or general descriptions or b) the description used in whatever references that apply. -- Alan 02:43, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
