{{pna-incomplete}}[]

Grossly incomplete. Three words does not an article make. I'd {{stub}} it, but I want to appear on the {{pna}} listing. — THOR 01:32, 4 May 2005 (UTC)

"Uses"[]

Uses gravitons? Um, gravitons = gravity. This is what they produce, not useThe preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.93.44.41.

Beyond missing ref[]

Quote aside, didn't the gravity fail @ Starbase Yorktown as well? --LauraCC (talk) 19:42, December 16, 2016 (UTC)

I don't think it failed. It was just because there was action between the gravity zones. --Defiant (talk) 19:51, December 16, 2016 (UTC)

Artificial gravity was one of the technological concepts invented for Star Trek: The Original Series. This allowed for actors to stand up and walk around normally instead of being flown on wires or anything else that would be costly to do on a weekly television series. It was rationalized that, even if everything else had failed on the ship, it would be one of the last systems to go.
