Picard[]

Was the Picard-4-7-Alpha-Tango command code in use as of 2366? I only remember it being used in 2373/2063 (Star Trek: First Contact).--Scimitar 12:32, 27 Jun 2005 (UTC)

It refers to the style of the code, not that actual code, which is why it says "2366 onward". -- Michael Warren | Talk 12:50, 27 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Another code for Picard was 'alpha two priority" in "Brothers". But it seemed to be superseded by Data's "priority alpha one". 74.69.11.229 11:59, October 23, 2012 (UTC)

Layout[]

I've been updating the Authorization code page and I'm wondering if I should write out the person that uses the code if it's is not mentioned in the code it self. i.e the code "Kappa-Alpha-4-6-0-1-7-0-4 " (TNG: "Data's Day". Should I write that Ambassador T'Pel is the user of the code or should I just write the code? What do you think? Björn Ehrby 11:53, 3 Jan 2007 (GMT +01:00)

Whom Gods Destroy[]

In TOS: "Whom Gods Destroy", the Away Team could not be transported back to the Enterprise unless they would offer the correct password ("Queen to king's level one") to the pre-arranged code ("Queen to queen's level three"). Maybe I'm getting the terminology wrong, but this sounds like a sort of password that should be mentioned somewhere in this article. --Keeves 02:46, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Talk:Defense access code[]

All a defense access code is is a code to access the defense systems- just like accessing a self-destruct system or any other restricted system. Should be merged with Authorization code.--31dot 00:34, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Command vs. regular authorization code[]

This page is overgeneralized. Everything that doesn't pertain to command authorization code should be separated from the current title. The CAC implies, and so-far use supports, that these are codes only for command level officers...comparable to a "command level override (links)" or "command level authorization (links)", which is something not everyone can have access to. –Gvsualan (talk) 17:00, 19 November 2021 (UTC)

Note to self: "command codes" were synonymous to "command authorization" in "Body and Soul". –Gvsualan (talk) 16:45, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
