What is a black alert?[]
This question has baffled me for many days ever since I was watching Star Trek Discovery and finally I have an answer. This alert is to notify the crew of the USS Discovery that the ship it transferring it's thrust or movement drive to the experimental warp drive. This is to let the crew know that the ship is in some danger of the drive failing and the ships entire system to shut down and explode. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 204.185.85.253.
