Different actors[]
okay, I know its two different actors, but couldent they have at least given the second guy the same ears as the first guy? how about ones that looked the same? or trying? – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.199.55.143.
- This really isn't the place for personal commentary, but Bok's appearance over 6 years doesnt change any less than Worf's appearance over that period of time-- and he is played by the same actor. --Alan del Beccio 21:02, 7 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Redirect[]
Do you think a redirection from "DaiMon Bok" to this article would be ok? That may be a common name by which people would search for an article this character. Shanok 19:34, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
Trivia[]
FYI - Bok is turkish slang for crap. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.17.114.44.
Reason for recasting[]
I removed:
In the Star Trek: The Next Generation Companion, ? ed., p. ?, author Larry Nemecek said that actor Frank Corsentino couldn't be located to reprise Bok in "Bloodlines", so Lee Arenberg stepped into the role (despite having played another Ferengi, Prak, earlier that season, in "Force of Nature"). Evidently, Corsentino was later "found" and played Gegis in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Inside Man".
I can't find any such claim in my copy of the TNG Companion. It notes the recasting but doesn't give a reason. (Star Trek: The Next Generation Companion, 2nd ed., p. 294)–Cleanse (talk) 03:00, 3 October 2021 (UTC)
