Double the pleasure, double the fun[]
Seems that there are two flavors of male Boslics. --Alan del Beccio 08:16, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Narik[]
The caption for this image describes Narik as a Boslic, but upon not-so-close inspection of Narik himself and the images of Bostlic people on their species page, it is obvious that he is not a member of that species; his own page even states that he is of an unknown species. I presume that the statement of him being a Boslic is an error and can be corrected. Lexi 13:12, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- He wears the same make-up as the male Boslics, like Tilikia, seen in "Sons of Mogh". --Jörg 15:16, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
Agreed, but while Tilikia is the captain of a Boslic freighter, he isn't necessarily a member of their species, especially considering the similarities between Rionoj and the clearly male slave-trader seen in "Borderland".Lexi 15:25, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Tilikia was described as a Boslic in the script
Odo, is supervising as the DS9 security forces inspect the cargo and check out several N.D. Boslic Aliens from the ship. Kurn is here and now he's wearing a Baloran Security uniform. Odo moves over to watch as Kurn questions a Boslic named TILIKIA about a large cargo container.
- Dialogue confirms this:
ODO: "When he confronted their Captain, the man pulled a disruptor pistol. Then Kurn let himself get shot....Kurn's a trained Klingon warrior... he could've disarmed the Boslic without breaking a sweat. But he just stood there as the man pulled out his weapon, aimed, and fired. The only thing that saved him was that the man was so frightened, his hand was shaking."

Very well. In that case, I presume we must assume that the male seen in "Borderland" is a costuming error, unless anyone has access to scripting or similar that explains his appearance. Lexi 15:37, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Knowing very little about the species, all options should be left open. Could be a third gender, second speciees, or a result of a mutagenic virus, or genetic engineering. Why speculate? --Alan 15:42, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
Jaheel[]
So this should be a boslic? --Alan 15:22, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- My opinion is no. See [above] for details. Lexi 15:27, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
Yes, I added that comment. And as I stated [below], dialog supports Tilikia as a Boslic. There is no sacred law that states that a species can only have one "look". --Alan 15:34, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
