I've been thinking about the list on this page, and it doesn't seem as if "Featured" as a subtopic really makes any sense... certainly, Mark Piper and Sarah April were not "featured" to the extent of Leonard McCoy or Beverly Crusher. It would make more sense to rename the category "Starfleet," merge it with "Other," and leave the "Alien" and "Alternate timelines and parallel universes" as is. Same deal with chief engineer. - Chief medical officers have the right to remove anyone from their duty but only if they have a medical problem they can even do this to any officer who outranks them – The preceding unsigned comment was added by Captain Stephen Avril (talk • contribs)
First medical officer[]
I see someone added "first medical officer" as an alternative name to "chief medical officer", but I'm not sure if that is the correct interpretation of the quote:
- Sarah April: "As the first medical officer aboard a ship equipped with warp drive, I'm afraid I had to come up with new ideas all the time."
Now was she, as it is suggested here already, assigned as "the first medical officer" or "the first medical officer", seeing as that first also seems to carry weight over to "ship equipped with warp drive" as in "first...ship equipped with warp drive"? --Alan (talk) 12:56, October 31, 2018 (UTC)
