Can Picard's line that he and Cory "were" friends suggest that at some point they were no longer friends - either a break in their friendship (which seems unsupported by Picard's friendliness with Cory throughout the episode) or Cory's death prior to the episode's later events? Would Picard not otherwise have said that he and Cory "are" friends for years later? Tfleming 19:41, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

Why is this page called "Cortin"? The script [1] says "Corey" and I'm sure Picard says that aswell? --| TrekFan Open a channel 00:40, March 30, 2011 (UTC)
Apologies, after looking over the script again, it appears the name is "Cortan" though as you can see it is a different spelling from what we've got. Do we know where the spelling "Cortin" comes from and if not can we get it changed to "Cortan" as per the script? --| TrekFan Open a channel 20:10, August 21, 2011 (UTC)
- As I suspected, the "Cortin" spelling is from the Star Trek Encyclopedia. But interestingly, the Star Trek: The Next Generation Companion does indeed say "Cortan". Good spot. Unless no one else objects, the page can be moved.–Cleanse ( talk | contribs ) 23:55, August 21, 2011 (UTC)
- Just to check - "Cortin" wasn't in the credits or anything? :-) –Cleanse ( talk | contribs ) 00:01, August 22, 2011 (UTC)
- If it is moved, leave this as a redirect, and if it isn't moved, add the other as a redirect. -- sulfur 00:04, August 22, 2011 (UTC)
The opening credits just say "Ned Vaughn" as per usual. I'm all for a move and redirect if you are? --| TrekFan Open a channel 01:23, August 22, 2011 (UTC)
