Since Dinasia is for certain a language, are we so certain that this is really a "star" or simply qualify it as a location, albeit an astronomical location. --Alan (talk) 15:12, October 3, 2018 (UTC)
- According to the reference works, upon which the star chart from Star Trek: Discovery is based, Dewa is a star. Info on the star is in the bginfo.--Memphis77 (talk) 15:19, October 3, 2018 (UTC)
Well, I only ask because there seems to be several – Andoria (star)]], Khitomer (star)]], Organia (star)]], Orion (star)]], Praxis (star)]], Qo'noS (star)]], Vulcan (star)]] – that have been called into question as to whether they really are what they say they are. Understanding this might help resolve those. --Alan (talk) 15:25, October 3, 2018 (UTC)
- Which intention do we go with, the original source, with its key, or the replicated source? Original intention would seem to be, upon reading a talk page about this subject again, that these are the names of solar systems. Replicated intention would seem to be the names of locations. One of the issues with the names of locations is that we can have a star named Alpha Centauri, a system named Alpha Centauri, and a planet named Alpha Centauri. Context helps, when it is available. Do we go into the weeds, attempting to decide what it is, or do we just state it is a location?--Memphis77 (talk) 15:49, October 3, 2018 (UTC)
