Kaminar & Barzan II[]

So the continuity section states: The United Federation of Planets consists of 38 known member worlds as of this episode, down from "over 150" as of 2373 (Star Trek: First Contact) and 350 at its height. Kaminar and Barzan II are among the 38, the latter having joined in the 25th century according to Lieutenant Willa.

Forgive me if I missed something, but didn't the episode only state that they joined the Federation at some point, but not that they were included within the 38 known member worlds?? MadeIndescribable (talk) 13:07, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

I think it's reasonable from the plot and dialogue to conclude that Kaminar and Barzan II are still Federation members. About Kaminar, Vance states: "They're far enough away that contact has been limited since the Burn. That's pretty much the case with most Federation planets these days." His statement strongly implies Kaminar is still considered a Federation world. As for Barzan II, the fact that Barzans are the current caretakers of the Tikhov indicates it is still a Federation member, even if, again, it is not explicitly stated. Agreed they may still be members, but if we are going on "implies" an "indicates", then that doesn't neccesarily establish that they are included within the 38 known (ie, confirmed) members. MadeIndescribable (talk) 14:42, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

Holograms[]

is it good idea to create a new article named: Starfleet holographic personnel ? I think is better to separate: Unnamed Starfleet Headquarters personnel (?) C-IMZADI-4 (talk) 16:54, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

Putting this on the talk page for that Starfleet HQ article would've made more sense. But I think that these holograms are still HQ personnel, but perhaps the HQ personnel should be broken down by century. -- Sulfur (talk) 16:56, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
