The quote is from Galileo Galilei, with the word "truths" changed to "things". [1]

Cut down to just say the quote is by Galileo Galilei. The user who added this was apparently too caught up in the wisdom of brainyquote to remember that Galileo would not have said this in english, and that translation is not an exact science. I don't speak latin, but as far as I can tell the original says neither "truths" nor "things", but more like "true things" (oninia quae vera sunt -> all things true). -- Capricorn (talk) 06:22, January 30, 2019 (UTC)
