Disambiguation[]

Hint: there are a lot more drones than the borg: the NCC-G1465, the Romulan drone ship, the Son'a drones - disambiguation page? --Memory 16:58, 21 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Perhaps, perhaps not. I think we should start to go back to the original intent of a disambigation page (which is resolving the conflict that occurs when articles about two or more different topics have the same natural title, according to Memory Alpha:Disambiguation). Neither of the examples you gave has the natural title "Drone" - but, of course, one could write an generic article defining the function of a drone and linking to your examples. In that case, we would have that article and the episode, which could be disambiguated without a special disambiguation page. Thanks for your input. -- Cid Highwind 17:06, 21 Nov 2005 (UTC)

After almost two and a half years, the episodes "Drone" is the only natural "drone" listed here, so this should probably be moved to "drone (disambiguation)" and the episode moved back here. --Alan 02:04, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Re-organization[]

I think we need a proper article for the various drones (i.e unmanned aerial vehicles), which have multiplied greatly in Trek in the current crop of shows. Right now the various examples are covered at a mix of individual articles and "unnamed tools" articles, apparently arbitrarily since almost none of them have proper canonical names. It would be more useful for them to have a centralized article.

This can be at "drone (technology)" or "drone (vehicle)" or whatever, or maybe it can be the default target for drone and the current one returned to "drone (disambiguation)". -- UncertainError (talk) 18:32, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
