Driving skills[]

Interestingly, he was chosen to drive the Nazi car because of his background in car sales, as he was the only one who knew how to drive that particular style.

Question to ponder for the powers that be[]

Obviously the Ekosian played by Paskey was not Mr. Leslie. So we agree that Paskey played more than one character.

In Assignment Earth Paskey is seen in engineering and in the transporter room in a red shirt, but he's also seen in the same time sequence in the hallway in a gold shirt. Isn't it obvious that Paskey played more than one crewman? Which means, that it's likely that Mr. Leslie's twin brother Leslie served on the Enterprise with him. One of the two Leslie brothers was killed during the Obsession episode. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.169.244.123.

Date of birth[]

Wikipedia lists his date of birth as 20 August, 1939, which is apparently based on an e-mail conversation with Mr. Paskey himself: Eddie Paskey. However, this site lists him as being born on 5 February, 1934. What is the source for this information, and shall we correct it to the date on Wikipedia? --Ltarex 16:16, 9 July 2010 (CET)

His date of birth comes from birthdatabase.com, which uses information from birth certificates. In this case, it lists Edward J. Paskey as being born on 1934-02-05. I would need to see the actual e-mail or talk to Paskey himself before supporting a change of date. --From Andoria with Love 06:47, July 10, 2010 (UTC)
UPDATE Searching for an Edward Paskey in Delaware, I've found a record for an Edward G. Paskey who is 70 years old (which would match the August 1939 birth date) and who has previously lived in California. With a matching birth record, it seems to me that the 70-year-old Paskey is the correct one, so I'll go ahead and remove the 1934 birthdate. However, I would like some further verification before adding the 1939 date. --From Andoria with Love 06:57, July 10, 2010 (UTC)

That Which Survives?[]

Obviously Paskey served as Doohan's hand double numerous times (because of Doohan's missing fingers), but he had left the series after "Is There in Truth No Beauty?", so I don't think he worked on "That Which Survives". Where does that information come from? There is no citation. I shall insist to remove it. -- Ltarex, 14:02 (CET), 11 March, 2012
