Lakso vs Lasko[]

For future reference, the book/magazine Star Trek 30 Years lists every episode that had aired up until that point, and credits Edward J. Lasko as the writer of TOS: "And the Children Shall Lead". L-A-S-K-O. Page 93 in the U.S. version. --bp 03:23, March 12, 2010 (UTC)

I'm wondering if we should add this as an indented, italicized note somewhere in the article. It might be a good idea to let people know that even though he's listed as "Lasko" in reference material, he's credited as "Lakso" (at least in updated versions). --From Andoria with Love 18:09, March 12, 2010 (UTC)
Definitely should. -- sulfur 18:13, March 12, 2010 (UTC)

The second edition of the Star Trek Encyclopedia has "Lakso," but the first version of the episode page lists "Lasko" (so does the MB page), so User:MinutiaeMan must've had a source that spelled it wrong, or maybe he spelled it wrong. He could have been using Star Trek 30 Years as his reference. Should maybe try and find one other published source before making a note. --bp 18:48, March 12, 2010 (UTC)

It's an unofficial source, but he's misspelled as "Lasko" in Captains' Logs: The Unauthorized Complete Trek Voyages as well. Probably worth a note then.– Cleanse ( talk | contribs ) 01:06, March 13, 2010 (UTC)
