Engineering division[]

I've redirected "engineering division" here, vs. operations division, as it was a single use term in "Where No Man Has Gone Before", used in the same context as astrosciences and life sciences (as they were their respective "department heads"). While the former should probably be rewritten to better reflect said context, the latter redirects to the comparable life sciences department. --Alan (talk) 17:48, November 15, 2019 (UTC)

Good call, the previous target made little sense. I'm trying to systematically working through all this department/division stuff (should culminate in an article on the department concept itself), what changes are you suggesting exactly for astrosciences? -- Capricorn (talk) 18:07, November 15, 2019 (UTC)

Yes, astrosciences was only said once in the same context, however Astronomical Sciences redirects there and is from a (presently) undetermined reference from "Future's End". Of course, there is also (maybe) the matter of department heads vs. division heads. --Alan (talk) 18:32, November 15, 2019 (UTC)

The Astronomical Sciences thing is from one of Henry Starling's plaques [1]. Thanks for the tip, I might have missed that complication. Re division heads, I don't think that's gonna be much of a spoiler because that refers to a Starfleet department, not a department on a ship. I'm still thinking over the best way to separate those two concept, but it does seem like keeping them clearly apart is the best thing to do. -- Capricorn (talk) 05:57, November 16, 2019 (UTC)
