Removed[]

The following was removed by User:31dot, per "removed real-world POV, and opinion":

Fire Extinguishers are seen hanging on the walls of the bridges of 23rd-century starships. This is however, a blatant anachronism that should have been rendered obsolete by the mid-21st century. In the centuries of starships, an automated fire-suppression system engaged by the computer at the moment an uncontrolled fire starts would exceed the task an ordinary, antiquated fire extinguisher would have.

PNA[]

I think the device Kira used in "The Passenger" was a fire extinguisher, but I'm not sure. I think there were a few other uses of them in Trek as well.--31dot 21:57, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, in "The Siege", "Rejoined" and "Treachery, Faith and the Great River". -- DS9 Forever 22:05, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
Not to mention DS9: "The Die is Cast", ENT: "Fallen Hero", "Azati Prime". Additionally, this article is not written in the proper pov. --Alan del Beccio 22:10, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
I fixed it some(what I could do quickly) but it's not all the way there yet.--31dot 22:11, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
