Rename to Hanonian Edit

The Star Trek Encyclopedia (page 37) credits David Cowgill and Michael Bailey Smith as "Hanonian", so this is the name of the species. --NetSpiker (talk) 04:14, August 31, 2016 (UTC)

What do script sources say? --LauraCC (talk) 16:39, August 31, 2016 (UTC)

The script just calls them "Alien #1", "Alien #2" and "Medicine Man". --NetSpiker (talk) 01:21, September 1, 2016 (UTC)

And I believe proto-alien, but even from what I saw in the script for "Basics, part deux", the planet was never named, and only the system: Hanon system was named in the first "Basics", so both "Hanonian" is not accurate, and so is this title, as Hanon IV was never stated (I think that too comes from the Encyclopedia). --Alan del Beccio (talk) 01:24, September 1, 2016 (UTC)
So if the race is unnamed in canon, this rename suggestion would appear to be moot. --LauraCC (talk) 18:45, October 5, 2016 (UTC)

The names Denevan neural parasite and Beta XII-A entity are also from the Star Trek Encyclopedia. If the Encyclopedia is considered a valid source to name those pages then why not for this one? --NetSpiker (talk) 04:40, October 17, 2016 (UTC)

Since there are no more objections, I will soon be moving the page. --NetSpiker (talk) 04:35, January 16, 2017 (UTC)
