Considering that this is used as an insult towards Spock and Spock I say that this be merged with Colorful metaphor as it's just an insult and I know we never really stored these pages except as redirects or similar. — Morder 18:22, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Oppose. Maybe a merge to something makes sense, but not "colorful metaphor," which was made pretty clear to be foul language and the like. Pointed-ear and hobgoblin may be descriptive and somewhat insulting (in one case not even that), but it isn't a swear like "double dumbass." --OuroborosCobra ^talk 18:59, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Oppose. Hobgoblin is not just a term like petaQ, it is an actual reference to a mythological creature. As such, a page on said creature is warranted. --From Andoria with Love 19:41, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Split[]

Shouldn't this be split, a page for goblin and hobgoblin alike? They are considered two different creatures are they not? (or at least a different type of the same creature) And also the references for hobgoblin, many though they were, were separate from Red Jack's reference to the goblins.
